Mid-South Maintenance began with one man and a truck in 1992. It all started when an executive from a nationwide restaurant chain called to see if I would be interested in starting a company to do the maintenance for his restaurants in the Nashville area, says Founder, President and CEO Winston Templet, who had developed a reputation as a restaurant maintenance expert during his stint as co-owner of a maintenance brokerage company. This executive was desperate for reliable, professional maintenance help and promised to give us all of his business if we would take his account. He even gave us our first service van. With that, Mid-South Maintenance was born. Winston staffed his growing company with trustworthy, friendly and highly-skilled technicians, investing heavily in technical and customer service training to develop Mid-South Maintenance's distinctive approach to client care. Before long, Mid-South Maintenance became known as the Nashville area's top restaurant maintenance company, with sales doubling every three years. By the early 2000's, Winston's investment in training was paying off in steady growth and an expanded service menu that included maintenance service for businesses and institutions throughout Middle Tennessee and commercial kitchen installations for clients nationwide. Today, Mid-South Maintenance's 40 employees serve more than 400 customers each year and boast an impressive client retention rate of 98 percent. |
