Winston Templet - President and CEO

As the architect of Mid-South Maintenance's customer-focused way of doing business, President and CEO Winston Templet brings 20 years of maintenance experience to the Mid-South Maintenance team.

Born and raised in New Orleans, Winston worked as an accountant for a major hotel chain while studying business at the University of New Orleans. He then went to work for a construction company, where he served as office manager and project manager.

Before long, Winston knew that he wanted a business of his own. Combining his financial knowledge with his extensive experience in the construction and maintenance industries, Winston co-founded All-Phase, a maintenance services brokerage firm. In 1992, he took the entrepreneurial plunge and founded Mid-South Maintenance, which is now one of Middle Tennessee's most recognized and trusted maintenance firms. "People were tired of dealing with unprofessional, unskilled repairmen," says Winston. "I envisioned creating a company staffed with trustworthy, friendly and highly-skilled technicians who could eliminate worries about maintenance."

Winston possesses the same level of technical expertise as his field technicians. He holds Master Technician certification from the CFESA and is certified in air balancing from the National Comfort Institute. He is a licensed general, electrical and mechanical contractor in three states (Tennessee, Mississippi and Louisiana) and is factory-certified to install, service and repair a wide variety of equipment, including ice machines, cooking equipment, heating/cooling equipment and refrigeration equipment.

When he's not working, Winston enjoys church and spending time with his wife, Beth, and their two children.
